4-Week Wheel-Thrown Pottery ClassDiscover the magic of clay on the wheel in this hands-on pottery class designed for beginners, or for experienced potters looking to build confidence at the wheel. Students will learn the fundamentals of wheel throwing, including centering clay, pulling walls, shaping forms, and finishing pieces.
The instructor will guide you step by step through your first pieces, demonstrating techniques and offering individual support along the way. As you gain confidence, you’ll have the opportunity to work more independently while still receiving guidance and tips to refine your skills.

Each participant will create several wheel-thrown pieces, which will be trimmed, glazed, and fired after class. (Please note - finished pieces will be picked up at a later date.) No prior experience is necessary — just bring your curiosity and a willingness to get a little messy. This class is perfect for anyone who has ever wanted to try the pottery wheel and experience the joy of creating functional art by hand.
