June 22 Meatless Meetup at Chowa Bowl in Pismo Beach

It’s a monthly restaurant visit on California's Central Coast -- a celebration of plant-based food (100 percent free of animal products).
About this Event

Everyone gets a:

House Salad

Mixed greens, cherry tomatoes, watermelon radishes, pickled cucumber, black sesame seeds, yuzu / ginger vinaigrette

And then a choice of:

Morro Miso Ramen

Tofu, chili oil, green onion, bok choy, pickled corn, pickled fresno peppers, pickled shallots, togarashi, nori sheet. Broth contains: roasted garlic, miso and dashi (5/10 spice level unless specified).

Or

Tofu Bowl

Herbed brown rice, kimchi, shred carrots & daikon, pickled red onion, avocado, green onion, black sesame seeds, basil and gochujang glaze (sweet and slightly spicy)

Or the

Veggie Rice Bowl

Herbed brown rice, mixed greens, roasted beets and butternut squash, tomatoes, pickled red onion, pickled corn, shaved fennel, shred carrots and daikon, avocado, fine herbs, basil, black sesame seeds, and yuzu / ginger vinaigrette

The Ticket price does not include tips or drinks.

Chowa Bowl is located at 690 Dolliver Street in Pismo Beach. The restaurant is open to all ages. Beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages (such as hot tea and homemade lemonade) are available.
