🎣 Grab your fishing buddy and join Join us for a Summer Tradition of Outdoor Fun and Adventure!
Natchez Parks and Recreation, in partnership with Alderman Ben Davis, invites local children and their guardians to the "Fishing With Fathers and Friends" event on Saturday, June 20, at Bob M. Dearing Natchez State Park. This event is free and open to the public.
Natchez Parks and Recreation is committed to ensuring that all kids can enjoy this outdoor experience. If your child doesn't have a fishing buddy, we will provide one. Fishing poles and bait will also be available to ensure everyone can participate.
Event Details:
• Who: Local children and their guardians
• Where: Bob M. Dearing Natchez State Park, 230B Wickcliff Road
• When: Saturday, June 20, 2026 from 8:00am to Noon
• Cost: Open to the Public • Kids 15 and under are Free, guardians/parents there to assist are also Free, Kids 16 + however are $5 each and MUST have a fishing license.

• Lunch: Provided
• Transportation by Natchez Transit. Meet at the National Guard
Armory in Liberty Park. The bus leaves at 7:30 a.m. sharp.
• Fishing Buddy: Open to not just fathers but uncles, brothers, step dads, grandpas, and more are also welcome to attend with the child.
