Jump Clinic | Markham Park (meet at BikeBox)

In this clinic we will be focusing on having a very small group of 6 riders to allow maximum repetitition where we can hone in on proper and correct body movements, having a clear understanding of bike compression and rebound along with managing pressure techniques such as pumping to maximize wheel lifts with minimal speed required.

You will gain confidence by learning as you practice and will have a much better understanding by having professional feedback from an experienced MTB Coach whom is certified and also teaches for a national company with over 100 riders already jumping.

We will cover helmet and bike safety checks, suspension setup, fundamental skills, wheel lifts with and without bump jump assistance, timing for when we want the wheels to take lift, absorption for rolling over jumps in case we come up short and how to pump for free speed and boost the jumps.

The focus is to take the skills learned in closed circuit environment to the trails so you can apply them as you session jumps inside the trails. With our certified and experienced instuctor you will have a better understanding on how to jump safer as he will provide you with accurate error detection and feedback. Once you feel the skill is done you will smile, holler and scream as you will be unable to hold in your stoke!
