July Silent Book Club Update: We will now be meeting at Martini’s next Thursday, July 23.
Unfortunately the Kalamazoo Public Library central branch has some HVAC issues and have to be closed next week when we were supposed to meet. We’ll be working to reschedule that location, hopefully for August. Thank you to Martini’s for being able to accommodate us on such short notice!! They will have the upstairs room set up for us starting at 5 p.m.—we hope to see you there!
If this is your first Silent Book Club—we can't wait to meet you! The concept is simple. It's a chance to spend an hour reading whatever you want without distraction! No assigned books, no discussions—just an hour to yourself.
Our group is large (so exciting!), so feel free to share tables and get cozy with fellow readers!
📖 What to Expect:
5 pm – 5:30 pm | Get your drinks and snacks, find a seat, mingle with fellow readers, share your current reads
5:30 pm – 6:30 pm | Silent Reading Hour
6:30 pm – 7 pm | Optional social time (or continue reading!)
