July Picnic in the Park!
About this Event
Jointly organised by and , this free community picnic brings residents together through shared food, creativity, music, wellbeing and community connection.
This is a relaxed, family-friendly gathering bringing residents together through shared food, creativity, music, wellbeing and community connection. There will be gentle arts activities, space for children and families, local creative contributions, and some home-cooked community food tasters.
For us, creativity is not only painting or performance, it can also be cooking, gardening, making, sharing stories, caring for the park, and bringing people together. These picnics are about celebrating the everyday creativity that already exists in our community.
What we have in store for July:
- Arts and crafts nature print making with Katie Cater-Leay (Katie in Colour)
- Somatic movement session with Agne Siauciunaite Somatics by Agne
- Live music from Pick Yer Feet Up
- Food tasters from around the world
- Games for all
Everyone is welcome. Bring a picnic blanket, your own snacks or lunch if you’d like, and come spend time with neighbours in a welcoming outdoor space.
If you can't make the July one - dont worry, we have picnics planed for August 15th and September 12th as well!
