Join us at The Craft Shed, Basildon for a creative and colourful evening celebrating LGBTQ+ families, stories and community.
We’ll be getting together with Illustrator Katie Carter-leay @katieincolour for a fun, welcoming craft night of zine making with. Katie is a freelance illustrator, Educator and zine maker based in Basildon. Their work is vibrant and full of colour, using illustration and handmade zines to explore creativity, storytelling and self-expression.
Katie will guide you through her step by step process of making your own zine.
No experience necessary. The Craft Shed is a safe space for families young and old to explore creativity.
Come unwind, grab some scissors, and enjoy an evening of cutting and glueing to create your very own pocket-sized magazine. It’s a wonderful chance to express yourself, share your voice, and connect with others through simple paper art ✂️
