Speaker Patricia Sanabria Friederich originally from Costa Rica where she was fortunate to already have sewing classes starting at a young age in elementary school. That along with help from her mother and grandmother she learned to sew at an early age. After moving to Wisconsin in the mid 90s is when she took her first formal quilt class. In 2013 Landauer Publishing published her book Mosaic Tile Quilts featuring her designs inspired from mosaic tile floors from historical buildings in Costa Rica. Since then she has continued to keep designing a variety of quilts, table
runners and wall hangings. Her latest designs are utilizing wool hand applique
because she really enjoy sewing by hand.
Social time 6:30, Meeting starts at 7:00.
Non members are welcome to attend our meeting admission is $10.00 per meeting or pay annual dues of $45 which includes all monthly meetings plus much more.
