Come learn how to fish at Cedar Hill State Park!
During this ranger led program we will explore the different equipment used in fishing, what fish we can catch here at Cedar Hill, and the different habitats these fish live in. Fishing is a great way to relax and connect to nature and it can be as easy as tying your shoe!
All fishing supplies will be provided by the park.
Registration is required and space is limited: please email [email protected] with your name and number of participants to secure your place!
Registration closes at 3:00pm, Friday, July 17th.
When: Saturday, July 18th, 2026 from 9:00am-10:00am
Where: Perch Pond
Bring: Water, and a snack if you need one.
Wear: Good shoes for walking and dress for the weather!
Cost: Free with a $7 per person park entry fee or presentation of a Texas State Park Pass. Children 12 and under are free to enter the park.
