The Northwoods Filmmaking Society is an open and growing community of people who are passionate about making films in the Northwoods of Wisconsin!
No matter your background, expertise or knowledge, all people are welcome to join us for our gatherings.
For this meetup, we will be having an informal video chat conversation with British-Irish filmmaker Oscar Harding.
Harding began his career in historical research and entertainment journalism before transitioning into marketing and distribution consultancy. He has worked on projects across the USA, UK, and Ireland, including the Academy Award-nominated Theeb, and the Academy Award-longlisted North Circular.
His debut feature film as a director, A Life on the Farm, secured international theatrical distribution and screened at festivals including Fantasia, Fantastic Fest, and the Edinburgh International Film Festival. The film was longlisted for 2 British Independent Film Awards and has screened on every continent, including Antarctica. He is currently in development on a Wisconsin-set horror comedy.
