Join us for July Book Club on Thursday, July 30th at 6 PM, right after the shop closes. This month we’re reading Maggie O'Farrell's newest release, Land, a historical novel set in 1865 Ireland, following a mapmaker, Tomás, and his son, Liam, as they chart a remote peninsula in the aftermath of the Great Hunger. The book is a multigenerational epic about loss, survival, and the enduring connection between people and place, exploring themes of colonization, rebellion, and the way history is imprinted on the landscape. It's a story of separation, reunion, and the ghosts of the past that refuse to disappear, inspired by O'Farrell's own family history.
