Please join us for the annual OWL 4th of July Parade!
The parade starts at 10. This year, we will also be hosting a gathering a half hour earlier at 9:30 at the same intersection to decorate bikes, strollers, and anything else with wheels! Bring some decorations to share if you'd like.
Parade Route: The parade starts at 7th and Ohio, heads south on Ohio to 8th, West to Louisiana, then north back to 7th, and finally east to Watson Park for popsicles in the park. ALL ARE WELCOME! Old West Lawrence residency is not required. Come have fun with us and show off your wheels!
***VOLUNTEERS NEEDED*** at each corner and the Tennessee crosswalk to help direct the parade and to abate any traffic. Popsicle distributor in the park also needed. Please email at [email protected] if you'd like to help.
