Get ready for a fun-filled day on Saturday, July 4th, as a fun day of food, music, inflatables, and more awaits as the 2026 Independence Day Celebration sponsored by Atrium Health Floyd takes over Ridge Ferry Park. Join us as we celebrate the 250th Anniversary.
The park opens to the public at 3 p.m. with food trucks, family fun games and concessions available and inflatables for kids to enjoy. Wristbands for the inflatables will be $5. Later in the evening, parkgoers can listen and dance to live music by Makenzie Phipps, a participant from season 28 of the Voice, on the Coca-Cola Stage before the fireworks show.
One of the largest fireworks shows in Georgia will be shot from the top of Jackson Hill starting at approximately 9:30 p.m. Pyrotecnico will be shooting the display that will feature more than 1,500 fireworks of all types, colors, and sizes.
“We look forward to this event every year, and we want everyone to come out to the park and enjoy a great day of food, fun, music and of course fireworks,” Todd Wofford, RFPRA Director says. “We also want to thank Atrium Health Floyd for sponsoring this great event.”
Rome Radio Partners will once again be broadcasting a simulcast featuring patriotic music to go along with the display. Just a reminder that parking for the event is $5 and card only.
Please keep in mind that large coolers, pets, drones, fires or sparklers are not allowed in Ridge Ferry Park. Parking is in the main park and the shoals side. Please follow staff members’ directions when parking.
