July 2nd Independence Day Bike Parade & Water Day

Bring your decorated bike and your trusty water blaster for this Independence Day celebration! We will kick it all off with our bike parade from the Sugar Grove Public Library to Volunteer Park and then cool off with a water day in the park! Of course there will be Fla-Vor-Ice pops for all enjoy!
Please ride safely to the event, and water shoes are recommended in the park during water activities.
Young and old are invited to ride a decorated bike or simply walk along!
Line up starts at the Sugar Grove Public Library at 3:30pm and we roll out at 3:45pm! The Parade route will start at the Library and proceed straight down Bastian Drive until the parade ends in Volunteer Park. Water activities to follow!
Parking is encouraged at John Shields Elementary for those driving to the event to participate in the parade.
Those wishing to watch the parade are encouraged to line the street/parkway along the parade route or gather for the parade's conclusion at Volunteer Park.
This is a free event and registration is encouraged but is not required.
