July 25, Saturday, Financial Literacy Community Networking Event
About this Event
Financial Literacy for Real Life
A welcoming space to talk about money, family, business and the future, together.
Thank you for discovering this event.
My own journey has taken me across countries, industries, entrepreneurship and financial services. Along the way, I have learned that earning an income is only one part of financial well-being. Understanding how to manage money, protect a family, prepare for uncertainty and plan for the future is equally important.
Many of us were never taught how to have these conversations.
That is why I am organizing this financial-literacy and community-networking event.
It is designed to be a welcoming, judgement-free space where people can ask questions, exchange experiences and develop a clearer understanding of the financial decisions that affect everyday life.
You do not need advanced financial knowledge to attend. You only need curiosity and a willingness to participate.
What we will explore
During this interactive session, we will discuss questions such as:
- Why should we save, and how can we build consistent saving habits?
- How can families prepare for financial emergencies?
- What is the relationship between income, debt, protection and long-term wealth?
- How can Canadians better understand available registered accounts and tax benefits?
- What risks should people consider before making investment decisions?
- How can business owners and professionals begin planning for retirement and succession?
- What does generational wealth mean, and how can families start building it?
- How can financial knowledge support stronger career and life decisions?
The discussion will focus on practical education, informed decision-making and the questions people should consider before taking financial action.

A note from your organizer
I know that walking into an event hosted by someone you have not met can feel uncomfortable. My goal is to create a respectful environment where people can speak openly, listen to different perspectives and leave with greater clarity.
Financial literacy should not be reserved for people who already have wealth. It should be accessible to every family, professional, entrepreneur and newcomer trying to build a stronger future.
I look forward to meeting you and starting the conversation.
