Hailing from the quaint city of Enkhuizen in the Netherlands, 26-year-old Julian Fijma has rapidly emerged as one of minimal deep tech’s most exciting rising names. With chart-topping records, sold-out extended performances, and continued support from key figures in the underground scene, Julian has developed a modern, emotionally charged signature style.

His productions have earned support from respected artists such as Chris Stussy, Michael Bibi, Enzo Siragusa, and Marco Carola, while releases on established labels have solidified his growing reputation. Early momentum came with his Airtime EP, “The Way,” followed by his first #1 in the Beatport Minimal/Deep Tech charts with the “Sweet Resonance” EP on WYLD. His close connection with Eastenderz — the label founded by East End Dubs — has played a pivotal role in his development, leading to standout releases including “ENDZ055” and the highly streamed “Bad City” EP.

Building on that success, Julian reached a new career high with his breakout record “Get Stupid,” which topped Beatport and went on to become the best-selling Minimal Deep Tech track on the platform in 2025. The record became a global DJ favorite and firmly positioned him at the forefront of the genre’s new wave.

His impact extends far beyond the studio. Moving into 2026, Julian started the year with a string of sold-out shows at large-capacity venues, most notably Manchester’s newest venue, IDRA, and the legendary Amsterdam venue, Thuishaven.
