About this Event
Join us for a rare, high-energy evening with Team Visma | Lease a Bike’s Matteo Jorgenson. We’ll have the snacks out and drinks flowing, a live DJ spinning, a bike valet so you can beat traffic and avoid parking in SF. We'll have beautiful Cervélo superbikes on display, and unfiltered stories from the sharp end of the World Tour peloton! You won't want to miss this After Hours Party at Mike's Bikes of San Francisco!
Who It’s For & What to Expect
This is a celebration of bikes, beats, bites, and the Bay Area community. Expect a buzzing, standing-room, party atmosphere.
This event IS for you if:
- You want to hear real, behind-the-scenes stories from one of America's top professional cyclists.
- You’re eager to meet other local riders and celebrate SF cycling culture.
- You appreciate beautiful bikes, good music, and cold drinks on a Thursday night.
Event Details
- The Vibe: High-energy shop party. Come as you are, straight from the office or straight from a ride.
- Stats: This is not a ride! Distance: 0 miles | Elevation: 0 feet | Surface: The polished floors of Mike's Bikes San Francisco.
- Parking: We will have a complimentary bike valet so that you can ride in and forget the hassle of parking in San Francisco. If you do not plan to ride in, please plan for some extra time to find a paid parking spot near the shop.
Event Rules
- Stories Over Stats: During the Q&A, no questions about FTP, TSS, or raw wattage. Ask Matteo about the chaos of the peloton, the food, the tactics, and the life of a WorldTour pro. Let's keep it human!
- The Strade Bianche Rule (Mix it up): Before you grab a second drink or slice of food, please plan to introduce yourself to someone wearing a brand or team hat that you don't personally own.
Gear & Preparation
- Recommended Equipment: Your best off-bike streetwear, your favorite cycling cap, and a good attitude.
- What to bring?: Your ticket confirmation, your ID (if you plan on grabbing an adult beverage), and a killer question for the Q&A. This is an unseated, mingling-heavy event. Bring good standing shoes. If you plan to participate in the pedaling challenge, bring something comfortable to pedal hard in!
