JULIA MOSS MEET & GREET

SEBASTOPOL--

We're delighted to bring Sebastopol native Julia Moss to Copperfield's to introduce her new book, Wanderers: A Walk Through Time and Transportation.

So, what's it about?

This sweeping, lyrical history of transportation encourages young readers to wonder at human ingenuity while wandering through time and discovering some of the coolest vehicles we invented along the way.

Since the beginning we've been on the roam. Searching for food, adventure, and home..

Set off on a journey through history and see how many ways humans have dreamed up to travel. First, there was walking, camel-riding, and canoes. Then, the invention of the wheel brought bikes, trains, and automobiles. Next, we took to the air with airplanes and rockets, and now there's new breakthroughs in sustainable travel every day. And what's at the heart of each advancement? Human curiosity and inventiveness.
