JULIA BRUSELLE @ the muddy puddle

Julia Bruselle, born Julia Brüssel, is a London-based violinist, composer and electronic musician from Cologne and Berlin. Her new solo live set brings the warm, expressive sound of the violin into dialogue with electronic sound, creating a rich mix of textures, atmospheres and grooves. Influenced by ambient, electronic music, experimental improvisation, modern jazz, minimal techno, dub and downbeat, her music moves between intimate soundscapes, rich textures, grooves and more energetic moments. The violin and electronics complement and extend each other, opening up new colours and dimensions, while improvisation leaves room for spontaneity and interaction.
