Julia Anwar and David Rastrick play a selection of classic and original songs at Bremer Bay Brewing Co. on Saturday 1st of March.
Born singing, Julia Anwar was raised in a musical family with generations of performance experience. Julia has a powerful voice that commands attention, honed from busking the streets of Perth, Western Australia during her late teens and early 20s. Although music took a backseat for a while, Julia has rekindled her passion for music performance since settling into family farm life and becoming a music teacher in the Great Southern region.
David Rastrick is a trumpet player and multi-instrumentalist from Great Southern WA. David has played in literally hundreds of bands in styles ranging from jazz to reggae, global music, funk, soul, blues and rock, as well as composing and performing music for circus, live theatre, dance, and multi-media performances.
Julia will feature on vocals and acoustic guitar, with David on trumpet, acoustic guitar and vocals.
Julia and David team up to bring you a rousing performance at Bremer Bay Brewing Co. from 5 to 8 p.m. on Saturday 1st of March.
