"It just seems like EVERYONE is being diagnosed with ADHD right now."
About this Event

We're currently seeing a huge increase in diagnosis, self-identification (AKA "not formally diagnosed but pretty sure") and patients who, after having their children assessed, are starting to wonder whether they too might be neurodivergent. However, the natural medicine industry is experiencing division as to what's causing the sudden uptick, and what to do about it.

  • Is ADHD being overdiagnosed?
  • What's causing the sudden rise in cases?
  • How do we create effective treatment plans for our ADHDer clients?

There's so much we can do to improve both physical and mental health outcomes in our neurodivergent clients. And when we do this from a trauma-informed, neuroaffirming perspective, we can create real change in people's lives.
In this session you will learn:

  • What is ADHD and how does it show up in our clients?
  • The role of the gut-brain axis, neuroinflammation and other drivers in ADHD.
  • Natural medicines - what works, what doesn't, and how to work safely alongside stimulant medications.
  • And most importantly - how to create a practice where your clients feel safe, seen and heard.

All of this will be delivered by a highly qualified naturopath who just happens to be late diagnosed ADHD - with lived experience and real-life stories to tell.
