Judy Maple Memorial Golf Classic 2026

This is the primary fundraiser for the Judy Maple Foundation and through your generous participation and donations, over $250,000 has been donated through scholarships and aid to families and organizations in need.

Golfers will enjoy 18 holes of golf as well as meals and beverages throughout the day. In addition to the golf experience, participants and guests can enjoy chances to win great prizes and cash through several event contests.

We are pleased to announce that this year’s event will benefit Wigs for Kids, Inc., a national 501(c) (3) organization that has served children with hair loss for over 45 years with free hairpieces. The children served by the organization suffer from hair loss due to illness — most commonly cancer, alopecia, and trichotillomania. Supporting the organization is a network of professional volunteer stylists who measure, select colors, and style hairpieces made from natural human hand-tied hair. In 2025, the organization served 1,079 children, of whom 69 were from Ohio, 44 from Pennsylvania, and 5 from West Virginia. They expect 2026 to be similar in terms of service needs.

As a family who has been touched by cancer not only through Judy but through other treasured friends and loved ones, we know all too well the struggles associated with illness-related side effects like hair loss and the relief and confidence that can be found by finding the right hairpiece. We are excited to contribute to this cause and support Wigs for Kids as they reach children who need their support. Learn more about the organization at wigsforkids.org.

As always, a portion of the event’s proceeds will also be used to continue The Judy Maple Memorial Scholarship Fund and our annual Holiday Giving Program. The Judy Maple Memorial Scholarship is presented each year to a deserving Edison High School student. This student most exemplifies the qualities that Judy always felt to be important — being a positive role model by demonstrating sportsmanship and serving the community.
