Apparently Championship Day needed a sequel.
So here we go…
JSBR CHAMPIONSHIP DAY — TAKE 2
Mother Nature got the first date. She does not get the championship.
After a two-week delay, we’re heading back to Beach Haven on Sunday, October 11, and everything we were supposed to settle the first time is still sitting there waiting for us.
And there is a LOT left to settle.
The overall High Points Championship is separated by just 40 freakin points.
Skeptik — 3,560
Wait, What? — 3,520
Two different classes. Two completely different races going on. And what happens in both of them could decide who leaves Beach Haven as the 2026 overall High Points Champion.
Super Stock is still tight.
Pied Piper II — 3,175
Why Me Lord — 3,015
Production still has business to handle.
Mini Hooker — 2,695
HYF — 2,400
Then add Fan Favorite.
Add the final pieces of the inaugural JSBR Cup, proudly sponsored by Hollow Pines.
Add the first JSBR Legacy Award, recognizing someone whose years of racing, helping others, mentoring, supporting and carrying this sport forward have left an impact that goes way beyond a points sheet.
And then, eventually, somebody has to actually become a champion.
So yes… we’ve got some work to do.

And hopefully significantly less water where the roads are supposed to be.
