Join Stewart in the beautiful surroundings of Rydal Hall in Ambleside, for a weekend of fabulous fiddle tuition. The Fiddle Foundations is a standard level course, with lots of focus on techniques and exercises for improving our fiddle playing, including both left hand dexterity and bowing techniques, and with some lovely tunes to put the work into context.
The weekend runs from 3.00 pm Friday to 3.00 pm on Sunday and the all inclusive course fee of £430 includes two nights in a private en suite bedroom, all meals and daytime refreshments, two full days of fiddle tuition, two evening sessions and all teaching resources. Sheet music and mp3 files of the tunes are sent out in advance, and recordings made on the course are sent to you afterwards.
