J.S. Bach - Heralding Cantatas

• Wachet auf, ruft uns die Stimme (BWV 140): An Advent cantata that begins with the hauntingly beautiful sound of oboes, creating a mood of anticipation and hope.
• Singet dem Herrn ein neues Lied (BWV 190): A lively and joyful New Year’s cantata, where festival trumpets and timpani bring a celebratory energy that’s impossible to resist.
• Erschallet ihr Lieder (BWV 172): A Pentecost cantata that bursts with life, full of vibrant melodies and rhythms that will lift your spirits.
