What Is Kirtan?
Kirtan is a gentle, music-based meditation done seated on the floor, in community. It’s built around simple call-and-response singing - one voice offers a short phrase, and the group responds. The melodies are easy, repetitive, and designed to calm the nervous system and open the heart.
No singing experience is needed!
You don’t have to sing loudly, stay “on key,” or even sing at all.
