Join with me and our lovely group at the gorgeous Soul Barns in Mortimer for an evening of upliftment with Chanting & Kirtan.
Singing & chanting together in a group setting brings huge therapeutic benefits, lowers blood pressure, creates feel good endorphins & brings about a sense of community.
Together we will sing various chants from around the World and create some sonic magic!
Kirtan is a form of Bhakti yoga - a devotional style of chanting, often in a call & response method singing sanskrit mantras. These mantras often invoke emotional shifts forward. They are not tricky, you will learn as you go, just bring with you an open heart & a big dose of enthusiasm.
Please bring with you a cushion, blanket & water for your comfort, maybe a drum & rattle if you wish to join in & get rhythmic. No experience is needed. Everyone who has an interest in exploring their voices is welcome.
