Pain, loneliness, trauma. These negative experiences of our lives often lead us to practice harmful thoughts and habits. Addiction to harmful substances and behaviors can result…but God is offering freedom.
Every church can be a place for healing. Journey to Wholeness (JTW), a resource created by the North American Division of Seventh-day Adventists, enables local churches to offer a peer-led support group for anyone who longs for freedom from addictive behaviors.
This 2-day training will introduce participants to JTW and provide them with needed information and skills to facilitate a “Journey Group.” They will also be connected to the larger network of Journey Group facilitators throughout the NAD for support and encouragement. Prior to attending this in-person training, please complete the free online course, Every Step Counts.
