The competition starts now.Ten outstanding blues acts. One stage. One shot at representing the Cascade Blues Association and the Pacific Northwest at the legendary International Blues Challenge in Memphis, Tennessee.
Journey to Memphis Round One brings together some of the region’s most exciting blues musicians for a day of powerful performances, unforgettable moments, and the beginning of the road to Beale Street.
From deep traditional blues and soul to electrifying modern sounds, every act is bringing everything they’ve got, because only two bands and two solo/duo acts will advance to the finals aboard the Portland Spirit during the Waterfront Blues Festival.
