About this Event
Indie Lens Pop-Up, presented by ITVS, INDEPENDENT LENS, and KEET PBS invites you to a free screening of Bike Vessel, an inspiring documentary about a father and son’s transformative cycling journey to reclaim their health .
About the Film
After surviving three open-heart surgeries at age 70, Donnie Seals Sr. discovered a love for biking. Now, 20 years later, his son, filmmaker Eric D. Seals, faces similar health challenges and proposes an ambitious idea: cycling together from St. Louis to Chicago—350 miles in just four days. More than a personal journey, Bike Vessel explores health disparities, resilience, and the power of movement.
