Journey Through Art is a programme for young people aged 6 – 13 years*. Once a month, The Burton hosts workshops for this age group covering a variety of creative media and skills. Come along simply to have fun and get creative, or choose to work towards an Arts Award.On Saturday 28 September join Mandi McCormack to create a T-shirt inspired by The Burton's collection of Gillian Ayres' colourful, abstract paintings. Exploring the art of abstract design, you will craft your own unique T-shirt using applique with felt fabrics and needlework.
