Journalling for a Summer's Day

If you fancy a day being arty-farty in a gorgeous rural setting, here's an idea: Why not make your own exquisite and unique folded journal in the morning and then fill it up with inspirational art in the afternoon?
I'm teaming up with Brailsford Learning to offer just such a day - and Christina, who will be guiding the morning's journal-making activity, will lead you through the intricacies of making a beautiful folded book. Wherever possible, Christina's materials are sustainably sourced, and she's SUCH a good teacher, you're guaranteed to create not only a unique notebook but also a lovely keepsake to remind you of your day in the countryside forever.
Then in the afternoon it's my turn. With me you will begin to fill the exquisite journal you made in the morning by collecting, reflecting, and creating art inspired by the idyllic rural setting of St Peter's. Together we'll have a gentle meander around the church and its surroundings, then use your observations as a jumping-off point to create patterns, pictures and possibilities of your own. A wonderful way to discover the transformative habit of art life journalling.
If you wish, you can choose to book for just one or the other of these sessions at £20 each; Christina and I will be thrilled to see you there. Or, you can book for both sessions and bring a packed lunch!
