Journaling Jumpstart

Jumpstart your journaling practice with this weeklong 30-45 minute morning workshop. Workshop will meet daily Mon-Friday, October 21-25 @ 7:00am (Eastern Time) We'll start with a short check in and warmup, followed by 15 minutes of dedicated writing time. A variety of prompts will be offered, but you're free to write anything you like. We'll end the workshop with a few minutes of reflecting on the journaling process and sharing. Participants are welcome to share thoughts about the prompt, the writing process, how it made them feel, etc. Participants are free to share as much or as little as they like. We've all heard about the positive effects of journaling and have every intention do it. But for many it just keeps getting put off. The most obvious reasons are the struggle to carve out the time for a regular practice and not knowing where or how to start. The goal of this workshop is to help with both. I recommend showing up all week to start building it as a consistent habit, however you can join as many days as you like. Registration will remain open all week, however, you only need to register once.

Workshops are a confidential space; participants agree not discuss others writing or conversations outside of the workshop time and space. All participants will be treated with equal respect; we will listen to each other without judgement or prejudice. The suggested prompts are just that, you can modify them any way that works for you or ignore them completely. All participation is voluntary, you are never obligated to share anything unless you want to. Small groups between 5-8 participants.

Tickets are donation-based pay what you can, enter any amount $1 or above. Suggested price is $10-$20 for the week. The link will stay the same for the full week, but you will get an email reminder each day which will include the link.
