About this Event
Journaling is more than writing words on paper β it is a powerful mental health tool that helps people process emotions, reduce anxiety, organize thoughts, and regain control during difficult moments.
Writing frustrations, fears, and concerns on paper can prevent emotional buildup that often leads to anger, hopelessness, or destructive behavior. Healthy expression creates space for healing, reflection, accountability, and growth. Violence may create fear, but communication creates understanding. Reflection creates change.
Racial violence and inequality continue to plague productive societies because unresolved pain, generational trauma, division, fear, lack of understanding, and silence often go unaddressed. Strong communities are built when people feel heard, valued, respected, and emotionally safe enough to express themselves without harm to themselves or others.
