Josh Caterer is best known as the lead singer of legendary Chicago punk band Smoking Popes. As a solo artist, he refuses to be boxed in, running the gamut from blues and gospel to power-pop. Caterer’s critically acclaimed 2021 solo album “The SPACE Sessions” features an appearance by his daughter Phoebe on their stirring version of the classic Frank & Nancy Sinatra duet “Somethin’ Stupid.” Now, Josh & Phoebe join forces for their first songwriting collaboration, the Americana-flavored “All The Way Crazy”, available as a digital single on January 9th, 2026.

Boston-raised, Chicago-braised drummer/singer/songwriter GERALD DOWD has been described as “the hardest working drummer in Chicago” (Richard Milne, WXRT), playing on over 100 albums, while averaging 150 live dates a year around the world. He has spent the last 30+ years playing with Grammy™-nominated artists Robbie Fulks and Justin Roberts, and Nora O'Connor, Chris Mills and Frisbie among many others. He's also played and/or recorded with Eddie Vedder, Mavis Staples, Rich Little, Norah Jones, and A Prairie Home Companion, just to name a few.
