This session will focus on what employers expect from candidates today in virtual and in-person interviews. how to use AI and other digital tools to prep more efficiently and how to communicate your skills with confidence and authenticity. You'll walk away with relevant and practical tips you can apply immediately to your next interview.

Marketing Beyond the Resume – Amy Dinning

Amy will focus on the job search tools that are necessary for an effective job search that some people don’t know about - Networking card; Networking Contact List; Networking Profile; Agenda for Networking Meeting; Target Company List; Networking Newsletter; Linked in Profile; and last by not least the Thank You Email. We will walk through each tool, when to use them, why use them, and how to use them. You will have a full job search toolkit once you create these tools.

Quantifying Results on Your Resume – Ed Samuel

One GIANT way to differentiate your resume from all others is to quantify your accomplishments. Stating that you did something is a great starting point. But not letting people know what the tangible and quantifiable result is can take the air out of the balloon very quickly. Ed will teach us the ground rules to set up quantification, how to use AI to your advantage and why an activity has no value. Learn ways to "guesstimate" that will not be challenged. Discover how to apply the litmus test to quantify every accomplishment. Discover an easy but effective technique to draw readers to your measurable success.

Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. and the workshop begins at 9 a.m. The formal part of the workshop will end at 3:00 p.m. Snacks, water, coffee, and sandwiches will be provided; if you have special food needs, please bring your lunch. Free parking will be available behind the church.
