2026 Undoing Racism Day of the CommUNITY Breakfast Collaborative
About this Event
Welcome to 2026 Undoing Racism Day of the CommUNITY Breakfast Collaborative!
Engaging in dialogue means learning to listen. Sound simple? It's actually challenging.
Learning to listen can become a tool to undo racism. Learning to listen to the Stranger who we encounter as Other becomes easier when we learn to apply "active listening," really tuning into the other person, and making a space to hear what they have to say, without trying to fix it.
Building relationships with others with whom you have a different point of view at the moment is challenging. It takes time to build these relationships.
Our effort this September 30th can be a beginning to developing even sharper listening skills. We all need to get better at it! Come learn from our panelists and engage with fellow attendees!
Mark the Sesquicentennial by practicing this skill!
We invite you to join us.
