**********Movie Based Quiz**********
From the black-and-white screen of 1888 to the vibrant cinematic presentations of today, film has delved its place in all our minds. Back then movies were confined to a few categories. But now, films commonly combine elements from different genres.
Now, everyone, suit yourself for the upcoming Movie Based Quiz organized by JCF as a facet of Cultural Carnival 8.0. MBQ stands as the ultimate challenge for cinephiles.
This is a team based event. Participants can split the movies among themselves. So no need to Fret!
Rules and Regulations :-
1)This is a team event. Teams are required to have a minimum of 2 and maximum of 3 members.
2)Participants cannot bring devices on event premises.
3) There will be 3 categories of teams. The categories are-
● Category A- Class 3-5
● Category B- Class 6-8
● Category C-Class 9-12
4) This will be a single round event and it will be written.

● Rules and Regulations:-
1) This is a team event. Teams are required to have a minimum of 2 and maximum of 3 members.
2) Participants cannot bring the following books on event premises.
3) There will be 3 categories of teams. The categories are-

Put your pop culture knowledge to the test and see if you can claim the crown in the Pop Culture Quiz.
RULES AND REGULATIONS:
1)This is a group event.
2)This is a two round based event.
★ Round 1 — Written Round
*Teams will be given 30 minutes to complete the round.
*The top 6 teams based on their scores will qualify for the Final Round.
★ Round 2 — Audio And Video Round
*The round will feature audio and video-based questions.
*The format, answering procedure, and scoring system will be explained by the quizmaster before the round begins.
*Questions will appear in two ways- audio and video
For example- you will be shown a picture of a movie character and will be asked to name it. Or we will provide you with an audio and ask who’s voice is this . Or we will play a part of the song and you will have to answer the name of the song.)
*The team securing the highest score will be declared Champion, followed by 1st Runner-up and 2nd Runner-up.
3)Each Group can consist of a maximum of 3 MEMBERS.
( Participating in a group of 3 is encouraged as questions will be set from different fields. Students from multiple institutes and classes are allowed to form a group together)
4)There is no particular syllabus for this event.
(Hint- Questions can be set from anything that is part of pop culture. But mostly the quiz will contain queries on a variety of topics like popular TV shows and movies, trending music, games, comics and internet sensations)

Step into the world of Satyajit Ray's legendary detective, Feluda, where every clue challenges your logic, observation, and reasoning. From solving mind-bending puzzles to conquering an exciting treasure hunt, Feludagiri is the ultimate test of teamwork, intelligence, and detective instincts.
Event Structure:
The competition consists of two rounds:
● Round 1 – Written Test (30 Minutes)
• 50 analytical and riddle-based questions inspired by Feluda Samagra Volumes 1 & 2.
• Mobile phones, books, and AI may be used; however, the questions are designed to test reasoning rather than direct searching.
● Round 2 – Treasure Hunt (Approximately 1–1.5 Hours)
• Only qualified teams from Round 1 will advance.
• Teams will solve clues and mysteries across the school campus to find the final treasure.
Rules:
1. Category: Open (Classes 3–12)
2. This is a group event consisting of 1–3 members per team.
3. Spot registration will not be available. Online registration is mandatory.
4. Teams must follow the clues in the given sequence. Skipping clues or advancing by chance will not be accepted.
5. Interfering with another team's clues or disrupting the treasure hunt will result in a 5–10 minute time penalty or further action by the organizing committee.
6. An official volunteer will accompany each team during the Treasure Hunt to ensure fair play and proper coordination.

The Hidden Beauty of City Life invites participants to capture the extraordinary moments that often go unnoticed amidst the rhythm of urban life. From the tireless efforts of workers, the silent sacrifices of parents, birds resting on city skylines, flowers blooming through concrete, timeless architecture, vibrant streets, and fleeting human emotions—every city holds countless untold stories. Through your lens, reveal the beauty beyond the ordinary and showcase the hidden soul of everyday life.
4. All photographs must be original. AI-generated, copied, or plagiarized entries will be disqualified.
5. Photographs must be submitted in PNG, JPG, or JPEG format. The maximum file size is 100 MB per photograph.
6. Each participant may submit a maximum of three (3) photographs.
7. After the online submission, JCF will shortlist one (1) photograph from each participant for the final exhibition and judging. Winners will be selected separately from each category.
8. Only the shortlisted photograph must be printed in a standard 10" × 15" size and submitted in a simple black frame. Premium or decorative framing is not permitted.
9. Submitted framed photographs will not be returned after the exhibition.

Transform imagination into art and let your creativity tell a story. This on-the-spot competition challenges participants to express the assigned theme through original artwork, celebrating creativity, artistic skill, and personal interpretation.
Rules and Regulations:
1. This is an individual (solo) event.
2. There are three categories:
• Category A: Classes 3–5
• Category B: Classes 6–8
• Category C: Classes 9–12
3. Participants must create an original artwork based on the assigned theme of their category. Copied, traced, or AI-generated artwork will be disqualified.
4. White drawing/art paper must be used. Participants may use any preferred medium, including watercolour, poster colour, acrylic, oil pastel, coloured pencil, charcoal, etc.
5. The competition will be held on-site at St. Joseph Higher Secondary School. Participants must complete their artwork within the allotted time.
6. Time Limit: 1 Hour 30 Minutes
7. All artworks must be submitted immediately after the competition ends. Late submissions will not be accepted.
8. Submitted artworks will become the property of the organizing committee and will not be returned.
