OLYMPIADS
∎ Rules:
• Each institution can send as many participants as it likes in solo events.
• Participants must bring their equipment (pencil, pen, etc.).
• Participants must bring their ID cards. Otherwise, they will not be allowed to participate.
• Cell phones will have to be switched off during the Olympiads.
• Answer papers will be provided by the organizers before each Olympiad.
• Judges’ decisions will be final and binding.
∎ Question Pattern: Descriptive/Short Answer Questions/MCQ.
∎ Duration: The total duration of each examination is 30 minutes.
∎ Registration Fee: 100 Tk in total for all Olympiads, 50 Tk for Each.

PROJECT DISPLAY COMPETITION:
∎ The competition will be divided into groups based on the academic level:
(i) Primary (Class I-V) [ only for BAFSD students]
(ii) Junior (Class VI-VIII)
(iii) Secondary (Class IX-X)
(iv) Higher Secondary (Class XI-XII)
∎ Event Details:
• One can participate as an individual or in a team of maximum 2 members.
• Participants must submit their project a day before the fest and complete their registration.
• On the event day, participants must arrive with their project at least 1 hour before their project set up time.
∎ Projects will be judged under the following categories:
• Mechanical
• Non-mechanical
∎ Important Guidelines:
Basic power supply will be provided for electrical/mechanical projects
Participants must bring:
Extension boards
Adapters/converters (if needed)
Backup power (recommended)
Inform organizers in advance for special power requirements
-Participants are responsible for setting up their own project. Setup must be completed within the allocated time
Ensure:
Proper functioning
Safe wiring and connections
Organizers are not responsible for technical failures
-Participants must be present at their booth during judging. Absence during judging may lead to disqualification
∎ Registration Information:
-To participate, contact your institution's authorities to register through the official invitation letter we will send to your respective institutions. Alternatively, you can submit your project with your team on the submission date.
∎ Registration Fee: 200 Tk per project
∎ Submission Date: 14 May 2026
WALL MAGAZINE DISPLAY:
∎ The competition will be divided into three groups based on the academic level:
(i) Junior (Class VI-VIII)
(i) Secondary (Class IX-X)
(iii) Higher Secondary (Class XI-XII)
∎ Rules:
• This will be a team-based event. Teams may be composed of maximum 2 members.
• The subject will have to be science-based.
• Maximum size: 5 feet X 5 feet.
∎ Registration Procedure:
Please contact your college authorities to register for the Festival through the invitation letter that will send to your respective institutions.
∎ Registration Fee: 200Tk per team.
∎ Registration Link: Will be provided soon
SCRAPBOOK DISPLAY:
∎ The competition will be divided into three groups based on the academic level:
(i) Junior (Class VI-VIII)
(ii) Secondary (Class IX-X)
(iii) Higher Secondary (Class XI-XII)
∎ Rules:
• This will be a solo event.
• The subject will have to be science-based.
• Spot registration will be available.
• ⁠Registration fee 50/-BDT

IDEA PRESENTATION:
∎ The competition will be divided into groups based on the academic level:
(i) Secondary (Class IX–X)
(ii) Higher Secondary (Class XI–XII)
∎ Event Details:
• Participants will join individually
• Each participant must present a unique and original idea related to Science, Technology, Environment, or Innovation.
• Ideas can be theoretical, conceptual, or problem-solving based (prototype is NOT mandatory).
• Each presentation must clearly explain:
• The problem statement
• Proposed solution
• Scientific/technical explanation
• Real-life application or future potential
∎ Presentation Format:
• Participants must prepare a presentation (PowerPoint / PDF / Poster).
• Each team will be given:
• 5 minutes for presentation
• 2–3 minutes for Q&A by judges
• Presentation must be clear, structured, and visually understandable.
• Use of charts, diagrams, or models (if any) is encouraged.
∎ Important Guidelines:
• The idea must be 100% original. Plagiarism or copied concepts will lead to disqualification.
• Participants must bring their presentation files in a USB drive and have a backup.
• Any required software or special setup must be informed in advance.
• Participants are responsible for ensuring their presentation runs properly.
• Judges’ decisions will be final and binding.
∎ Registration Information:
• Participants must register through their respective institutions via the official invitation letter or through the provided registration link.
• Spot registration may be available (subject to slot availability).
∎ Registration Fee:
• 100 Tk per individual
RUBIK’S CUBE SOLVING:
∎ THIS SEGMENT IS OPEN TO ALL GROUPS.
∎ Registration should be done online through the provided Google form or at registration booths located on our college campus. Spot registration may be available but is not guaranteed.

∎ Rules and Details:
• This is a speedcubing competition. The participant taking the shortest time to solve the cube will score the highest.
• Participants will have to bring their cubes (3x3, non-programmable, non-magnetic).
• Mean of 3 attempts (participants will get 3 attempts in total, and he/she will be scored by taking the average time taken to solve from those 3 attempts)
• 15 seconds will be given for inspection.
• There will be 2 or more rounds depending on the number of participants.
• Penalties will be given, as per WCA rules.
• If someone's cube breaks mid-competition, he/she will be disqualified automatically.
• The delegate’s and executive’s decision(s) will be final.
TEAM BASED QUIZ:
Strategies, collaborate, and let your collective brainpower lead you to victory in this high-energy, team-building showdown!
∎ The competition will be divided into two groups based on the academic level:
(i) Secondary (Class IX and X)
(ii) Higher Secondary (Class XI and XII)
∎ Details:
• Teams must be composed of 3 members from the same group.
• The competition will be held in two rounds. The top six scoring teams from the preliminary written round will move on to the final stage.
• Participants must carry their institution ID card.

TREASURE HUNT:
Get ready to challenge your wits, explore the campus, and solve mysteries like never before! Do you have what it takes to be the sharpest mind on campus?
∎ The competition will be divided into two groups based on the academic level:
(i) Secondary (Class IX-X)
(ii) Higher Secondary (Class XI-XII)
∎ Rules and Details:
• Each team must consist of 2–3 members.
• All participants must wear their college uniform and carry a valid college ID card at all times.
• Teams must solve clues in the exact order provided. Skipping stations or rearranging clues will lead to disqualification.
• All team members must stay together. Splitting up to search for different clues is strictly prohibited.
•Use of mobile phones, the internet, or assistance from non-participants is banned unless specified by the organizers.
• Clues are hidden only in designated areas. Entry into hostels, faculty residences, or restricted defense zones is strictly forbidden.
• Do not damage college property, laboratories, or gardens. Maintain the college's standard of "Knowledge, Restraint, and Discipline."
• Do not move, hide, or destroy clues intended for other teams. Doing so results in immediate disqualification.
• The decision of the BAFSDSC Executive Panel and judges is final and binding. Any form of misconduct or "illegal measures" will result in the team being removed from the event on the spot.

SCIENCE BASED EXTEMPORE SPEECH:
∎ The competition will be divided into two groups based on the academic level:
(i)Secondary (Class IX-X)
(ii)Higher Secondary (Class XI-XII)
∎ Rules and Details:
• Participants will pick a random topic from a bowl/box on the spot.
• Each participant will get exactly 2 minutes of preparation time after picking their topic.
• Once a topic is picked, it cannot be changed.
• Each speaker will have a minimum of 2 minutes and a maximum of 4 minutes to deliver their speech.
• A warning bell will sound at 3 minutes, and a final bell at 4 minutes. Exceeding the time limit may result in point deductions.
• The speech must be delivered in English/Bengali.
• The content must be scientifically sound. Spreading misinformation or "pseudo-science" will lead to a lower score.
• No books, pre-written notes, or mobile phones are allowed during the preparation or the speech.

PHOTOGRAPHY EXHIBITION:
∎ The competition will be divided into two groups based on the academic level:
(i) Secondary (Class IX -XI )
(ii) Higher Secondary (Class XI-XII)
∎ Categories:
(i) Mobile
(ii) DSLR
∎ Theme: Open
∎ Rules:
• Participants have to submit their photographs by attaching their pictures in the given form.
• Only online entries will be accepted. No print submissions will be accepted for his/her entry into the Photography Exhibition.
• There will be no fees necessary for submitting photos, but participants have to pay a registration fee of DSLR-BDT 350/-and Mobile-BDT 350/-for EACH of his/her selected photographs.
• All submissions are final. Further changes will not be allowed.
∎ Submission Guidelines:
• The file name of the photos needs to be in this manner:
FullName_InstitutionName_Group_Category_SubmissionNumber_Caption_PhoneNumber
For example,

• Photos must be either color or black & white.
• Each participant can submit a maximum of 5 photographs.
• The participants must be the sole owners of each of their photographs submitted.
• Entries must be attached to an email, renaming the files as instructed.
• The file must be in .jpeg, .jpg, .png, .psd, or .ai format.
• The file must contain at least 3000 pixels in width.
• Minimal digital manipulation (i.e., only manipulations such as color enhancement and cropping) is allowed. However, adding or removing key elements of the composition may NOT be accepted for judging. HDR photos will NOT be accepted for judging.
• Photographs with a copyright/watermark stamp/logo will NOT be accepted.
• Selected participants will have to pay their registration fees by bKash or Rocket for the selected photo. The account number will be notified after the result.
• All the participants of the Photography Exhibition will receive their participation certificate and their framed photo.

CONCEPTUAL VIDEOGRAPHY:
Bring science to life! Whether it’s a cinematic explanation of a physics law, a stop-motion biology cycle, or a futuristic vision of technology; show us your vision through film.
∎ The competition will be divided into two groups based on the academic level:
(i) Secondary (Class IX-X)
(ii) Higher Secondary (Class XI-XII)
∎ Rules and Details:
• The video must revolve around Science, Technology, or Nature. It can be an experiment, a documentary-style short, or a conceptual visualization of a scientific theory.
• The video must be 100% original. Any form of plagiarism or the use of stock footage for more than 20% of the video will result in immediate disqualification.
• Content must not violate any social, religious, or political sentiments.
• The video must be between 1 to 3 minutes long.
• Minimum resolution should be 720p (HD), though 1080p (Full HD) is preferred.
• Videos must be in MP4 or MOV format.
•Recommended ratio is 16:9 (Horizontal).
• Upload the video to a Google Drive folder and share the "Anyone with the link" access to [Insert Email Address] or submit via the official registration link.
• Save your file as: FullName_InstitutionName_Group_VideoTitle_PhoneNumber
