On May 9th Boots on the Trail in conjunction with The Ornery Vets Collective will be hosting a fundraising concert. Boots On The Trail offers free ecotherapy events for veterans who get together to spend time volunteering to clear hiking trails for public use. No experience needed to participate. Its a good time to get outdoors and build some camaraderie.
OVC hosts a weekly free lunch and peer support meeting. "We are veterans of the United States armed forces. We gather weekly to share a meal, our lives, our experiences, and hope. Our foundation is that of kindness, compassion, and service to other veterans and the community. Our vision is to help develop veterans support groups in all surrounding communities."
