This year, the Joplin Emancipation Celebration Committee will be presenting its 2026 Annual Emancipation Celebration, July 31-August 2 at Landreth Park in Joplin, MO.
As in years past, we have three full days of community activities planned. Activities include:
Live Entertainment - 18th Annual Car Show - Water Fun - Horse Rides - Kid's Games - Live Music - Dominoes Tournament - Movie Night in the Park - Local Vendors - Kickball - Church in the Park
All activities are free to the public, everyone is welcome!
The purpose of Emancipation Celebration is to provide a cultural event that educates on African American freedom and achievement. We use this event to promote cultural diversity and respect for all cultures.
Please contact us directly regarding vendor space, sponsorship and your tax-deductible donations.
