Jonny Muir + Tara Rai + Keith Austin
Following our last sold-out show at Hopscotch, we’re back with another intimate evening of contemporary folk and atmospheric songwriting.
South East London’s Jonny Muir first came to wider attention with his cover of Your Young Voice, featured in Netflix’s Sex Education. Drawing on 1970s folk-rock and artists such as George Harrison and Simon & Garfunkel, his ethereal vocals, lyrical storytelling and distinctive ukulele style have earned him a growing following.
His second EP, Mimic in the Breeze, was released in 2025, with a third due this year.
Joining him is Tara Rai, a South London multidisciplinary artist whose music weaves together elemental soundscapes, Punjabi heritage and meditations on transformation. Following the acclaimed EPs Mauta and Bardo, her recent singles continue her exploration of ritual, nature and renewal.
Opening the evening is Keith Austin, making his live debut with a set of beautifully crafted songs inspired by folk, indie and Appalachian traditions.
