This week at Father Hennepin Bluff Park we are hosting the Jon Sullivan Band, a funk group. Led by the powerful and moving voice of Jon Sullivan, this is a band of brothers who've honed their musical relationship over years of being tirelessly productive in the Minneapolis music community in a variety of different projects. Together, they have found a sound that brings forward a feeling of originality and nostalgia that will sink deep into your soul. Since 1892, Music in the Parks has provided residents and families opportunities to gather and enjoy local music throughout the summer. Since its inception thousands of free concerts have taken place. Concerts are weekly and vary from classic rock, hip hop, international, funk and many more genres of music.
