Jon Cyr, this time with his band, returns to The Carleton to help us kick off 2025 with a bang on Friday, January 3rd. Show time is 8 PM and it’ll only set you back $15 + HST.The Jon Cyr Band brings together decades of musical experience and a wide range of genres, with a primary focus on both classic and contemporary country. While our set is rooted in country music covers, you’ll also hear a variety of other musical flavors along the way.
At the helm is frontman Jon Cyr, known for his versatility and rich vocal power. Jon has returned to his country roots so fully that he’s even traded in his shoes for his very first pair of cowboy boots! Drawing inspiration from artists like Merle Haggard, Chris Stapleton, Luke Combs & more recently Zach Top, Jon’s performance is full of energy and authenticity.
The band is rounded out by longtime musical friends: Rob O’Connor on drums and harmonies, Glendon MacBurnie on bass and harmonies, and Shelton Swinimer, whose masterful lead guitar adds unique flair to every song. Together, the Jon Cyr Band delivers a dynamic and unforgettable live performance.
