Our Broadway Clay Instructors will teach you how to create a Japanese Jomon bowl. This technique was popular in the Jomon period of Japan where they would take clay coils and build them upon one another to create their vessels with their intricate designs in n the outside. The interior of the bowls are smoothed and glazed.
Our handbuilding workshops are a great way to be introduced to clay. The class begins with a demo, followed by guided instruction.
