You get Todd Phillips’ JOKER: FOLIE À DEUX, the follow-up to his Academy Award-winning 2019 original. That might have been an obvious punchline, but as Arthur Fleck would say, comedy is what you make it.
This chapter of his story finds Arthur institutionalized at Arkham awaiting trial for his crimes as Joker. There’s a silver lining though, as he meets the love of his life behind the infamous prison’s walls – Harleen Quinzel, Harley for short. Together, they cause a little mayhem, make a little music, and try to show us that the whole world really is a stage.
