Joint Compound & Watercolor

Learn about using joint compound as a base layer for painting. This slightly unusual substrate primer creates a great textured foundation for your watercolor work and can also be used to add texture among layers of watercolor! Artist-instructor Patti Overholt is an award-winning oil painter and watercolorist with years of experience in both teaching and painting. She's excited to share what she's learned from her experimentation with using joint compound in her own work by walking you through creating your own painting from start to finish at this two-hour workshop!

This class is for adult artists who have some watercolor painting experience - "advanced beginners" are welcome.
