Join-Us ONE TO ONE In the Holidays - California Youth Centre

The Join-Us In the Holidays 1 to 1 sessions provide a multi-activity play session for children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities who are residents of Redcar & Cleveland, require 1 to1 support and are aged between 5-10 and 11-17 years of age.

Families can access sessions in various locations once a week for the duration of the school holidays. Sessions will cost £5.00 per session (payable on attendance).

Places are limited and will be allocated on a first come first served basis - there is a waiting list if you would like to leave your details in case a place becomes available.

A member of the staff team will contact you to discuss your child/young persons individual support needs prior to them attending the group for the first time.

Children and young people should bring their own clearly labelled packed lunch & drinks/snacks, appropriate outdoor clothing (coat, hat etc) and any Medic*tion they will need.

IMPORTANT NOTICE – THIS IS A ONE TO ONE SUPPORT SESSION:

If your child HAS NOT been identified by our service as requiring one-to-one support in either centre based or off site activities, booking them into this session does not guarantee a place at play scheme.

These sessions have limited staffing numbers and we must ensure that we work within appropriate staff ratios to maintain the safety and wellbeing of all participants.

Sessions for children and young people who do not need 1 to 1 support can be accessed through our Join-Us "In the Holidays" sessions (also on Eventbrite).

Although Join-Us In the Holidays 1 to 1 provides 1 to 1 support for children and young people we currently do not provide 2 to 1 support.
