Join us for Surcheros’ Grand Opening Celebration at Lake Oconee!

Mark your calendars for a week of celebration starting Monday, April 27, 2026! Surcheros®, the community favorite known for bold flavors and Southern hospitality, is officially opening its newest location at Lake Oconee in Eatonton, Georgia, with a four-day grand opening event. 

The festivities kick off Monday with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 10:30 a.m. alongside the Eatonton-Putnam County and Greene County Chambers of Commerce. To celebrate the big day, Surcheros is giving away Free Burritos for a Year* to the first 50 guests who make a purchase and scan their receipt in the Surcheros app. 

The celebration continues all week long: 

• Tuesday, April 28: 10% Give Back Day to the local organization Neighbors Helping Neighbors. 
• Wednesday, April 29: Free T-Shirt Day (while supplies last). 
• Thursday, April 30: Free regular queso or guac with any full-size entrée purchase. 

Visitors can enjoy fan favorites including freshly-made bowls, tacos, grilled burritos, and quesadillas, each custom-made to order with a choice of premium meats, vegetables, and more than 25 toppings. 

The new 3,162-square-foot stand-alone location features a spacious dine-in area, a covered outdoor patio, and 56 dedicated parking spaces. For those on the go, the restaurant offers curbside pickup, a dedicated pickup window, and delivery through DoorDash and Uber Eats. The Lake Oconee location will operate Monday through Sunday from 10:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. 

To take advantage of these grand opening offers, guests can download the Surcheros app through Google Play or the App Store. Rewards members earn points for every purchase and enjoy exclusive benefits and perks.
