Save the date. https://business.narimn.org/events/details/education-day-2025-1855NARI-MN will hold a seven (7) hour education day for contractor members that need to complete their CEU requirements for the MN Department of Labor and Industry. The day will include sessions that cover a wide range of topics and presenters.
We invite those interested in presenting at our 2025 January Education Day, to submit a proposal for review by our Program & Education Committee. Speaker proposals are evaluated objectively with an emphasis on the following criteria:
Ability to provide training that meets the CEU requirements. Demonstrate if you have the course approved by DoLI.
Knowledge in the topic area.
Presentation skill and experience.
Willingness to work with others to create a multi-presenter event.
Novelty in topic.
Proposals should show enough detail for the Committee to understand how your presentation will support the goals of the education day.
Deadline to Submit
September 27, 2024
The Committee will accept/review no more than two proposals per firm/presenter. Complete a separate application for each proposal. Incomplete applications will not be considered.
Details
Presentations are in person, 1 hour in length. Include time in your agenda for Q&A.
Describe your presentation. Include learning objectives. No more than 500 words.
Contractors need one energy and one business credit. If your proposal meets one of these, please note that in your proposal.
List relevant information about previous speaking engagements around this topic and/or contractor CEU topic.
Bio – include speaker bio, name, education, current role, certifications/designations, contact information, and 3 reference.
Preference will be given to NARI-MN members with a designation, and NARI-MN members.
If your session has been accepted:
We will need a brief description of the presentation highlighting the topic and the bio of the presenter.
We will need an outline in 10-minute increments, learner objective statement, and slides for the presentation no later than November 15, 2024. Slides can have presenter identifying information on the first and last slide only.
Presentations must be a minimum of 50 minutes with no more than 10 minutes of Q&A.
There are no monies available for honoraria.
